IBM launch new scalable tape library

IBM launch the new TS4300 tape library to enhance the existing range of IBM midrange and enterprise tape solutions.
With support for established tape formats in LTO-6 and LTO-7 Ultrium, the new IBM TS4300 will provide compatibility with the very latest LTO-8 when tape drives and tape media become available this year.
The modular design of the IBM TS4300 enables you to increase tape and drive capacity as needed. The IBM TS4300 LTO Ultrium tape library scales vertically with up to seven modules in a single rack.
