The HP family of storage products and solutions help meet user requirements for primary storage, backup & recovery, data analytics and archiving.

The feature product in the HP StoreEver family is the MSL6480 tape library (see video below). This cutting edge automated tape library system delivers best-in-class scalability, density and performance to meet your storage, backup, disaster recovery data protection needs - as well as long-term archival requirements.

The HP MSL6480 system uses LTO 6 data tapes with automated tape hardware and software to ensure reliable data management. Thanks to LTFS, LTO tape is as easy to access as disks, using drag-and-drop technology. The system offers increased storage density which maximises both space and capacity – and can be seamlessly scaled up to 3.5 petabytes of data storage

This solution is highly scalable, reliable and manageable - and all at a very competitive price point – making the HP MSL6480 a sound financial investment for the midsize data centre.
